Heart icons ♥ indicate level of the class:

♥ - Expect to do sequences of basic yoga poses such as Downward Facing Dog, Warrior 2Triangle, and Seated Forward Bend. Peggy will often demonstrate poses and will guide you through alignment principals. You may also be introduced to more challenging poses such as Half Moon or Supported Headless Headstand, but modifications are ALWAYS offered so that everyone experiences the energetic benefits of every pose, no matter what level you're at or how energetic you're feeling that day.

♥♥ - Classes with 2 heart icons include a little more challenge with introduction to some arm balances and inversions. If you would like to build even more physical strength and learn proper alignment for more challenging poses, these are the classes for you. All students should always feel comfortable coming out of a pose at any time though, just as going deeper in a pose might also be an option! AS ALWAYS, MEET YOURSELF WHERE YOU ARE THOUGH. Students are NEVER required to do anything and are welcome to practice at their own level.

"The people who use yoga most effectively are not necessarily the people doing the most advanced poses. It's using yoga to change your life in a positive way."
~Sharon Conroy, director of The Iyengar Yoga Center in New Orleans
